Atalante - Lakefront Location with Stunning Views

Standard queenstown accommodation - overpriced but expected for the location Positive: The view was gorgeous. Customer service from Harcourts very friendly and responsive, thank you. Beds comfy. Kitchen basic equipped, but we were able to make meals. Right on queenstown trail (closed at the moment) Easy walk to town but bus stop on door step also. Negative: Water pressure in kitchen was an issue. We've advised Harcourts of this so hopefully will be fixed as its hard to clean dishes. Dishwasher makes strange noise between settings. Heat pump wasn't working on arrival. Cold first night but Harcourts had this fixed the next day which made a huge difference. Nice and toasty!

Extremely disappointed and will not recommend. Positive: Lakeview from both living room and one bedroom. Comes with car space outside. Negative: Heating didn’t work in living room - freezing cold and we all ended up sick. Contacted Harcourts multiple times to be told that is all that is on offer (an air con with heating 3+ meters up that did not power up to warm the area required). One heater in the bedroom is touching a single bed that our kids slept in and dangling off the wall. Reported the issue and it was rehung off the screw, but moved and comes off when you turn the switch on/off. Absolute fire hazard. The only heater that worked was the double bed room. Laundry was also unavailable and no refunds made. They offered to come install a new one as we were leaving (no use to us by then) and we asked not to be interrupted again but Harcourts still came knocking to ask for access despite our request in writing. Unhappy with the stay as it was premium snow season and it was not as described. If we had known, there were plenty of other options in the same area with same offerings. Would not recommend for anyone that is safety conscious. Roller blinds also had lots of dead bugs that were never cleaned and left to fester which we had to clean ourselves. Soap/shampoo bottles also had mould on the bottom which we cleaned before using.

Positive: The view was fantastic and the apartment was clean and beautiful. Negative: A bit far from central Quenstown and shops

Lovely relaxing retreat with fantastic views Positive: Good location as on a bus route to Queenstown/Lake Haynes/Arrowtown /Frankton. Bus service good and reasonable (especially with a Bee card). Fantastic views of the lake. Very comfortable, well equipped and very clean. Quiet and peaceful. Negative: Liked everything really but some improvements would be a)to upgrade the balcony furniture - the benches were rather rickety and not that comfortable (but taking a chair outside was an option). b)Quite difficult to find as the directions did not seem to mention ‘Residence du lac’ which was the main sign at the turning for the drive.
